Botanical Garden

This magnificent garden has one of the largest botanical collections in Valencia, with nearly three thousand different species of trees and plants from the five continents of the world.
The garden was created in the sixteenth century, is owned by the University of Valencia and has its origin in an orchard that was enabled for the teaching of botany. Two centuries later, the garden grew in size and adapted to new scientific advances.
Inside, there is a collection of palm trees and tropical trees, cactus and other plants that can be found in the desert.

–November, December, FROM 10 AM to 6 PM
PRICES:
-REGULAR ADMISSION: 2.5
-FREE ADMISSION: Children under 7 years old, members of the university community (Universitat de València) and companions of dependent persons.
–REDUCED ADMISSION:
-1 € to members of the group “Friends and Alumni of the University of Valencia.
– 1.5 euros to seniors over 65 years, pensioners, dependents, unemployed, children from 7 to 16 years, university students, holders of large family or single parent card, holders of youth card, members of associations linked to the Botanical Garden.
-1.5 euros for groups of more than 10 people.
-2,25 € to people with “Tarjeta Turística Valenciana” or “Punto Familia”.
