VALENCIA BUSES

The bus is the most appropriate transport to travel medium and long distances, including towns and districts, while enjoying the scenery. València has a network of urban buses (EMT) and suburbs (Metrobus) very complete and with high frequency.

  • Hours. From 4 to 22.30. From there the night service begins, which ends at 2 am on weekdays and at 3.30 am on weekends.
  • Fertilizers. Valencians tend to move with an Móbilis card, to which they add surcharges. For the tourist, the most attractive is the València Tourist Card for personal use. Includes unlimited travel for 24 hours, 48 ​​hours or 72 hours with incorporated transfers.
  • Where do I buy them? The card is sold in the Tourist Info network (Calle de la Paz, City Hall, Joaquim Sorolla and the airport), in authorized kiosks and through the Internet.
  • A tip … Download the EMT application, valid for IOS and Android. Includes bus, metro, tram and bike information. It allows to know when the bus arrives at a stop, calculate routes and save favorites.

If you want to make an itinerary through the main monuments, there is also a tourist bus service. There is a historical route, another one through the maritime zone and it is even possible to visit the Albufera Natural Park. With ticket modalities of 24 or 48 hours, you can go up and down whenever you want.
