The arrival of autumn does not go unnoticed by the senses of those who experience nature in the Serranía de Cuenca. From mid-September to mid-October, two of the most intense and fascinating phenomena of our fauna take place: the zeal of the lords of the forest, the bellowing of the deer (Cervus elaphus) and the roar of the fallow deer (Dama Dama). The autumn stillness of the mountain nights is momentarily interrupted by an incessant choir of powerful bellows, which cross our moors and moors, our gorges and ravines, like an implacable song to life. At SAÓ Viajes we don’t want to miss it, and that is why we have designed Discover the secrets of the bellowing, an experience entirely dedicated to discovering and enjoying the bellowing of the deer and the roar of the fallow deer in a privileged enclave located in the heart of the Natural Park of the Serranía de Cuenca, through ecotourism, the interpretation of nature and scientific dissemination.

The activity lasts 4-5 hours and is available in morning and afternoon shifts.

It includes a guided interpretive route (about 2 km.), a brief interactive talk (about 40 minutes long), lunch or snack, listening to the bellowing and hoarse and sighting of deer and fallow deer with the support of telescopes terrestrial and prismatic. All this in the company of expert guides in the field. It is an interpretive experience suitable for all audiences that, combining the principles of the interpretation of nature, scientific dissemination and Ecotourism, leaves no one indifferent.
