Do you want to try a different wine to the rest and get to know a traditional oven that has been going on for more than 100 years?
If so, the Ferrer-Gallego family invites you to their home to show you their vineyard, their oven and their surroundings.ENDEMIC is a healthy and “art-healthy” product.
It is a wine that is not added any type of additives, without sulfur, or other preservatives, or yeast. Nor is any clarifying agent added (many of them contain allergenic substances), it is not filtered to maintain its purity and high flavor.
Its preparation, bottling and labeling is manual.The corks used are from the Espadán and Calderona mountain ranges, certified by the Forest Society Council, for the responsible use of forests. In this activity you will discover what conservation viticulture is, which goes far beyond the elaboration of a ecological wine The ENDEMIC wine is a family product, the result of effort, work, enthusiasm and tradition, which maintains the viticultural practices that their ancestors have made to preserve the agriculture of the territory and produce a high quality organic wine.
The experience includes a visit to the Family oven, unique, is one of those places that transport you to its origin, of Arab influence. It has been maintained for more than 100 years without shutting down. It produces ancestral products, of great character and flavor, with very old traditional recipes.
Recently, its sweets have been distinguished by the Pastry Guild of Valencia as representative of the Traditional Valencian Bakery thanks to its elaboration and quality criteria. It is an experience in which it is shown in a pure way a conservation of the agricultural culture (viticulture-bakery).
-Visit the vineyard, the cellar, the oven, tasting 2 to 4 wines in the morning.
– Tasting of sweet and salty products from the oven, lunch at El Yantar Restaurant (Venta del Moro).
-Gastronomy typical (6 first courses to choose, and 6 second courses to choose, + dessert to choose from an assortment of several offers) accompanied by Endemic wine, personalized guide.
10.30 am Arrival at the Endemic winery (Jaraguas, Venta del Moro)
10.45- 12.45 hs Explanation of the Endemic Project.Visit to the surrounding vineyard of the winery, kept in traditional cultivation and in glass of the vine, ecological agriculture of the native and endemic variety ”Bobal”, the vegetal covers and natural hedges. Concept of natural, organic, bio, live wine. Visit the winery to learn the method of winemaking and taste several vintages of wine, both in barrels and bottled.
12.45- 13.45 hs Visit to the traditional ”La Marieta” wood oven. Explanation of the different methods of preparation, origin of the ingredients of the traditional products, sourdough, origin of the firewood, sample of products and curiosities. Tasting of bakery products and samples of the most representative and traditional. 04.00-15.30 Lunch in a restaurant with typical dishes of the area, accompanied by wine Endèmic.15.30 – 17.30 Visit to the oldest vineyards of the family (80-100) years of age) and deepen the cultural practices of viticulture .
