The Fallas of Valencia is an emblematic celebration that combines art, gunpowder and tradition. Each year, the city is filled with fallero monuments, fireworks displays and cultural events that attract visitors from all over the world. Below is the official program for the 2025 Fallas, with details of the main events and activities.
History
Las Fallas have their roots in ancient pagan celebrations marking the spring equinox. Over time, these festivities evolved, incorporating Christian elements and local traditions, to become the festival we know today. Declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, the Fallas represent the identity and festive spirit of Valencia.

February 2025
- Sunday, February 23
- 07:15 h: Children’s Despertà. The little ones walk the streets announcing the start of the festive day.
- 07:30 h: Macrodespertà. A pyrotechnic route that culminates in the Town Hall Square with a spectacular “earthquake” by Pirotecnia Alto Palancia.
- 12:00 h: Entry of Bands of Music in the Town Hall Square.
- 14:00 h: Mascletà in the Town Hall Square, performed by Pirotecnia Valenciana.
- 19:30 h: La Crida at the Serranos Towers. This official act marks the beginning of the Fallas, with speeches by the Falleras Mayores and a fireworks display by Pirotecnia Peñarroja.

- 00:00 h: Fireworks display in the Town Hall Square by Pirotecnia del Mediterráneo.
March 2025

- 14:00 h: Mascletà in the Town Hall Square, performed by Pirotecnia Peñarroja.
- 17:30 h: Ninot Parade. Route: Glorieta, La Paz Street, San Vicente, Town Hall Square, Marqués de Sotelo and ending at Xàtiva Street. The parade will culminate with the entrance of the first pieces of the municipal falla “Fauna Fallera”.

- 12:00 h: Offering of Flowers on St. Joseph’s Bridge.
- 14:00 h: Mascletà in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, performed by Pirotecnia Caballer FX.
- 19:00 h: Fire Parade along Calle Colón, from Puerta de la Mar to Plaza de la Porta de la Mar.
- 22:00 h: “Cremà” of the children’s fallas.
- 00:00 h: “Cremà” of the fallas.
- 00:30 h: “Cremà” of the municipal falla in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
