The Charco Azul route has historically been the main hiking route in Chulilla.
Leaving the town of Chulilla we will go to the lower part of the village and we will go downhill towards the Turia River, along a track that will soon become a path.
We will arrive at the Peña Judía, a beautiful spot, and continue upstream, crossing several bridges, until we reach the spectacular Charco Azul, where we can take a swim or have a fantastic view from the pontoon that takes us almost to the center of the Charco.
Optionally, we will cross the river over some stones to return along the left bank of the canyon, next to the irrigation ditch that feeds the hydroelectric plant of Chulilla, making the circular route and getting a different perspective.
Our guides will talk to you about curiosities, history, legends, flora and fauna of the area… A much more inverse way of hiking.
