Discover Ademuz
The Arab origin of Ademuz becomes evident when we enter its narrow and winding streets, which hide small jewels of pre-industrial civil architecture as the Cube of José El Maroto. In most of the streets of the old town the sun can hardly enter, so it is a good refuge during the summer months. The narrow streets mark the architecture. The buildings have several heights, the houses rise in search of sunlight, and to gain meters, it is very characteristic that the homes of Ademuz have an overhang. However, among its narrow avenues open wide spaces such as the Plaza de la Iglesia or the Town Hall.
The hydraulic environment of the Molino de la Villa, headquarters of the Tourist lnfo, stands out on the banks of the Bohílgues River, where we find unique elements such as the Lavadero and the Fuente Vieja, which are part of a significant, efficient and very well preserved water network.
