We enter a very beautiful but almost unknown area in the interior of Valencia, marked by the Turia riverbed, which is fed by the Bercolón ravine. Unlike other ravines, we will rarely find crowds.
The Bercolón waterfall has become overcrowded due to the “influencers”, who accessed walking, but after the DANA of 2024 access has become very complicated if it is not doing canyoning, which gives a special point to the activity. The canyon has changed a lot due to the aforementioned DANA, leaving a cleaner riverbed and shallower pools, so in this canyon we will not have to swim at any time.
After about 15 minutes of comfortable climb along a track, we reach the entrance of the ravine. We will enter the water with a small slide. Then, after some walking inside the ravine, we find the first beautiful rappel, about 9 meters. Just after this, we find the main course, a spectacular rappel down a 20-meter waterfall that leads to a paradisiacal rock arch.
Finally, we will descend the last waterfall doing a third rappel. We will only have to return to the cars in a short walk.
