Depending on how long we want to make the route, we can vary the starting and ending point. In the general case, we park very close to the beginning of the remains of the aqueduct, in an easy walk in which we will find historical curiosities, botanical…
We will pass through the remains of this important aqueduct, finding bridges, sections carved into the rock and the spectacular ditch that gives its name to the aqueduct.
At a certain point, we will return to Chelva or continue to Calles, to return with a comfortable walk along the river Chelva, along the famous “water route”. In this case the route is about 15 km long and takes about 4-5 hours, so it requires good physical shape and avoid the central hours in summer. To do the whole route, select it in the reservation.
In case of not doing the complete route, to complete a great morning, we can accompany you to know the wonderful “Playita” of Chelva, which is accessed with another pleasant walk.
