“La nit del foc”

The Nit del Foc is one of the most emblematic and awaited traditions of the Fallas. It is a pyrotechnic show of great magnitude that takes place during the early morning of March 18, just the day of the “cremà”, when the monuments are burned amidst a great festive and always somewhat melancholic atmosphere. It is an event full of history, dating back to 1944. Since then, it has evolved and has become one of the most magical and exciting moments of the Fallas, attracting thousands of people from different parts of the world. And from all around the city.

The pyrotechnic spectacle of the Nit del Foc is known for its impressive fireworks, which illuminate the Valencian sky for about 20 minutes. It is a waste of more than 4,000 kilos of explosive material, lights and colors that leaves everyone absorbed and amazed. The fireworks of the Nit del Foc are launched from the Paseo de la Alameda, in the area of the Palau de les Arts. The show will begin at 1:30 p.m. on the night of March 18. In addition to the “mascletà” that we can enjoy during the fallas, at night we can also enjoy fireworks from the 16th to the 18th at 00:00 h in the area of the City of Arts and Sciences.

Although these days prior to “la nit del foc” do not have the same amount of gunpowder or expectation. They are the perfect opportunity if you can not attend on Monday 18, or want to see it with more space and tranquility.

Saturday 16: Fireworks display in the area of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències from the Turia Garden. Pyrotechnics Martí. At 00.00 hours.

Sunday 17: Fireworks display in the area of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències from the Turia Garden. At 00.00 a.m.

Monday 18: ‘Nit del Foc’ in the area of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències from the Turia Garden. At 01.30 am.

Tuesday 19:

• Fire Parade in the center of Valencia. At 7 pm.
• “Cremà” of the municipal falla with a previous show. Pyrotechnics of the Mediterranean.
