The Fira de Tots Sants de Cocentaina (All Saints Fair of Cocentaina)
Cocentaina is preparing to receive thousands of visitors in the 678th edition of its famous Fira de Tots Sants, one of the oldest fairs in Spain.
From November 1 to 3, the old town of this town in Alicante will be transformed into an authentic medieval market, where past and present come together. With nearly 1,000 exhibitors divided into 11 commercial sectors, the fair offers a wide variety of products, from crafts and gastronomy to household items.
A journey through time
Strolling through the cobbled streets of Cocentaina during these days is like stepping back in time. The Fira de Tots Sants, declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest, attracts every year half a million visitors looking to immerse themselves in a unique experience. And no wonder, because this fair has a history that dates back to 1346, when King Pere el Cerimoniós granted the municipality the privilege of celebrating it.
News for all ages
This year, the organization has prepared a series of novelties to surprise visitors. It highlights the creation of the “Fira Màgica”, a space dedicated to the little ones, with about 20 children’s shows that will take place in the Torreta Jaume I.
In addition to the commercial offer and children’s activities, the Fira de Tots Sants will also have a luxury musical lineup. Names like Pep de la Tona, Cactus, Henry Méndez and Carlitos & J.Beren will provide the soundtrack to these festive days.
Where to park
To facilitate the visit, several parking lots have been set up with a total of 1,200 spaces. However, due to the large number of attendees, it is recommended to reserve a parking space in advance through the fair’s official website.
