First edition of l’Horta Burguer Fest
This weekend, the municipality of Alacuás celebrates the first edition of l’Horta Burguer Fest. This gastronomic event, which takes place in the Parc de la Sequieta, a space that becomes a meeting place for food lovers and especially hamburgers.
Admission to the event is free of charge and the schedule of each day is:
- Friday 12 from 7:00 p.m. to 00:00 a.m.
- Saturday 13th from 12:00 to 17:00 and from 19:00 to 00:00 hours
- Sunday 13 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
The Clavaris of Crist 2024 of Alacuás, who has been in charge of organizing the event, wanted to make it clear that this is not a hamburger competition, that is, there is no winner, since they seek to create a good atmosphere focusing on entertainment and fun.
The main objective of l’Horta Burguer Festes was to highlight the importance of the Valencian orchard and promote the consumption of local products in local establishments. In this sense, the different exhibitors and food trucks were in charge of offering delicious burgers made with fresh ingredients and in their possibility of proximity.
The variety of burgers at the festival is truly amazing. From classic beef burgers to more innovative and daring options, such as vegetarian and vegan smash burgers or flavor fusions, all attendees will find an option to satisfy their tastes.
Here is the floor plan of the Parque de la Sequieta with three areas set up as entrances and exits; shelves for drinks, starters, hamburgers; restrooms; areas with tables and chairs; stage with live music; and even a space with bouncy castles for the little ones. They have also announced in their media that they will be holding eating contests for the most daring.
Alacuás is proud to have hosted this first edition of l’Horta Burguer Fest and hopes to repeat in future editions to continue promoting the gastronomic culture and quality products found mainly in the Valencian orchard.
They have already announced in their networks which are the participants already confirmed for this first edition and their collaborators. All participants are from nearby towns such as the municipality itself Alacuás, Aldaia, Torrent, Valencia and Buñol.

Here we bring you each location with which burger will be presented at the event so you can come with the desire from home:
- El Origen from Aldaia (with its Cremaet 2.0 hamburger on Mr.Brioche brioche bread, 180g of Galician beef, smoked cheddar cheese, crispy smoked bacon and crispy edam cheese, with cheddar sauce and cremeet sauce).
- Branques from Alacuás (with its Fatty Smoke burger on brioche bun, 180g of beef, sautéed onion, maple fat bacon, smoked cheese and Hannibal sauce).
- El Bvrgueso from Alacuás (which participates with two hamburgers, the Brascada, with brioche bread, double smash 100% Basque beef, Serrano ham, caramelized onion, smoked cheese and kimchi, bacon and barbecue sauces; and the Exotic Pork with pork seasoned with 5 Chinese spices, cheddar cheese, cabbage salad, cucumber and kimchi and teriyaki sauces).
- Khambú in Valencia (participating with the Vegan Smash, which includes brioche bread, 3 pea protein smash burgers, lettuce, tomato, vegan cheddar cheese, sweet and sour pickles and ranch sauce, a vegan herb veganesa.
- Blackbullburger from Torrent (which will offer two options, the Torrezno with brioche bread, torreznos, gouda cheese and smoked cheddar cheese, 200g of veal and American and cheddar sauces with tajín; and the Sweet Bacon with brioche bread, 200g of veal, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, bacon jam and cheddar sauce).
- A To Trapo, from Buñol (participating with the “Grinchmax”, which includes premium brioche bread with 900-day aged beef fat, Beluá feat Mario Padial, 180g of Beluá’s Rubia Gallega cow, smoked provolone cheese, gherkin relish, crispy ham and gaucho sauce).
