Ma Khin Café was born in 2014 in response to the chef’s concern to create an unprecedented gastronomic concept in the city, decolonial Asian food. Rooted in Burma’s gastronomic history, its cuisine takes history and food seriously. From the steamed mohinga casserole to the simple and comforting bowl of dahl, respecting culinary traditions, promoting cultural encounter and exchange and anticipating a future in which men will be as welcome as their gastronomy.
