Solidarity Race: 1km1vida City of Valencia
Solidarity is empathizing with those who need it most, putting ourselves in the background. In an attempt to promote solidarity and improve the quality of life of those less fortunate, the Vicente Ferrer Foundation will once again organize the 3rd edition of the 1km1vida Solidarity Run in the city of Valencia. The race will be held this Saturday, April 20, and seeks to raise awareness and funds for the Vicente Ferrer Foundation. The event will have different routes, adapted to different levels of physical condition, to ensure the participation of all citizens eager to collaborate, and can even be done walking.
It should be noted that all the money raised through registration will go to a project for the inhabitants of 30 villages in the region of Kurnool, in southern India, which will encourage the boys and girls in the area not to drop out of school: the reform and improvement of the Government Junior College Banaganapalli. The Vicente Ferrer Foundation (FVF) is a development NGO committed since 1969 to the transformation of one of the most impoverished areas of southern India and Nepal. It implements its programs in 3,600 villages and supports nearly three million people. Although online registrations are already closed, you can still register on the day of the race at the start area.
