“Tapas d’ací” is a concept that seeks to highlight the delicacies of Valencian gastronomy through a simple and innovative approach. With a careful selection of quality ingredients and traditional preparation methods, this project highlights the love of food and the desire to preserve the typical gastronomy of each region of Valencia. The event is organized by the Confederación de Empresarios de Hostelería de la Comunidad Valenciana (Conhostur) with the collaboration of “Turismo Comunitat Valenciana-L’Exquisit”, with the aim of highlighting Valencian products and boosting the gastronomic offer in the bars and restaurants of the Valencian Community. From April 26 to May 12, 2024 you can enjoy all the proposals with a taste of the Valencian Community, accompanied by a beer or a glass of Valencian wine for a popular price of 5 euros. This event aims to promote the culture of the Valencian tapa through the development of proposals based on our native and seasonal products, highlighting each area of Valencia.
One of the fundamental premises of “Tapas d’ací” is the respect for local producers and food sustainability. All the ingredients used are local and seasonal, which guarantees the freshness and quality of each tapa. In addition, collaboration with small farmers and producers is promoted, thus supporting the local economy and preserving traditional occupations that are increasingly endangered. In addition, on May 6, the new edition of the Contest for the Best Tapa of the Comunitat Valenciana 2024, which will be attended by the two best proposals from each province. The winning proposal will participate along with Michelin Star chefs in an event to be held next June in Warsaw.
