The most important festivals in the Valencia Region
The Valencian Community, known for its rich culture and festive tradition. Throughout the summer, the autonomous community hosts a large number of festivals that make us move and attract millions of tourists from around the world to enjoy music and party in Spain.
1. ARENAL SOUND
One of the most prominent festivals in the Valencian Community is the Arenal Sound, held from July 30 to August 4 in Burriana, Castellón. This is a festival of electronic music, independent and mestizo, which has usually been held at the Arenal Beach since 2010, which took place its first edition. It presents one of the best lineups of the national scene, which is supported by its more than 300,000 attendees.
2. BIGSOUND FESTIVAL
Another of the most emblematic festivals in Valencia is the Bigsound Festival, which will be held this 2024 at the City of Arts and Sciences, in Valencia. It has positioned itself as the largest urban music event in Europe, after selling out all the subscriptions in 2022 and 2023 with more than 70,000 attendees each year and becoming the most multitudinous event in València, 2024 will return on June 28 and 29. 3. MEDITERRANEAN FESTIVAL
It is one of the most popular Indie festivals around the country, will take place in the city of Gandia, from August 15 to 17, 2024, taking place in El Parc de la Festa. This event, in its 5th edition, the second in Gandía, combines music, beach, sport, art and gastronomy, offering a complete experience for the attendees.
4. JELLYFISH FESTIVAL
The Medusa Festival takes place on the beach of Cullera from August 9 to 12, and is already one of the most expected and recognized electronic music stages in Valencia, even in Spain. Every year, we can enjoy the best DJ’s in the world in every musical style. We find different styles in each of their respective scenarios: from EDM on the main stage with larger capacity and more recognized artists. Techno, Indie, Remember, Hardstyle, Dubstep and Regueton/Trap; so that everyone can enjoy their favorite artists.
5. ZEVRA FESTIVAL
The Zevra Festival was born as a proposal of the organizers of the Medusa Festival, to take advantage of the spaces and accessibility to promote another festival with totally isolated genres. Therefore, the Zevra also takes place on the beach of Cullera, in the same enclosure. From July 19 to 22 will take place this 2024 one of the largest stages of Regueton, Hip Hop, and Trap. In the last edition it was possible to enjoy artists like Raw Alejandro, Anuel… In conclusion, the Valencian Community is proud to have a wide variety of festivals that fill the summer with color and fun, in addition to attracting tourists from all over the world.
