The great figures of flamenco come together at Les Arts
The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía is preparing for a new season full of duende and passion. Les Arts és Flamenco returns with a luxury line-up that brings together great figures of flamenco singing and guitar playing, promising six unforgettable nights for flamenco lovers.
A journey through the different flamenco palos
From October 2024 to May 2025, Valencian audiences will be able to enjoy a journey through the different flamenco palos (styles) by renowned artists. The season will kick off on October 26 with José Mercé and his latest work, “El Oripandó”, a fusion of flamenco and singer-songwriter songs that will leave no one indifferent. He will be followed by figures such as Israel Fernández, with his project “Pura Sangre”, which combines flamenco tradition with a contemporary touch; Mayte Martín, with her intimate and emotional “Flamenco íntimo”; Antonio Reyes and Jesús Méndez, two greats of Cadiz flamenco; El Pele, a living flamenco legend; and Reyes Carrasco, a promising young artist who pays tribute to “La Niña de los Peines”.
Schedules and dates
On December 13, Mayte Martín will immerse us in an intimate and emotional recital. Then, on February 21, Antonio Reyes and Jesús Méndez will transport us to the deepest roots of Cadiz flamenco. On April 24, the strength and duende of El Pele will fill the stage, while Reyes Carrasco will close the cycle on May 23 with a tribute to the mythical “Niña de los Peines”.
