Christmas lights switch-on in Valencia

Valencia lights up for Christmas with an emotionally charged event

The magic of Christmas is already here! The glow of Christmas lights is about to flood the streets of Valencia, marking the beginning of a season full of illusion and hope. This year, the lighting of the Christmas lights has a special meaning. Tomorrow, December 4 at 7:30 p.m., the city will unite to pay tribute to the victims of the DANA, a catastrophe that deeply marked the Valencian community. For this reason, the lighting was delayed for three weeks as a sign of respect and solidarity.

During the event, the Falleras Mayores and the choir of the Iturbi Municipal Conservatory will accompany the Valencians in this emotional moment. In addition, the Nativity Scene will be inaugurated in the Crystal Hall of the City Hall, a traditional Christmas symbol that this year takes on special relevance. The Christmas illumination of Valencia will thus become a space of light and solidarity, where citizens can enjoy the magic of Christmas and at the same time remember those who are no longer with us.

Don’t miss this emotional event and come and enjoy Christmas in Valencia!
