ARRIVING BY PLAIN IN VALÈNCIA

The airport is located just 8 kilometres from the centre of València, between Manises and Quart de Poblet, and is well connected to the city by public transport. It has a single 12/30 runway, two passenger terminals, and has been in active use since the 1950s. The Main Terminal building houses both T1 and T2, which is used for internal flights. All domestic flights depart from the Regional Aviation Terminal.

 

AIRLINES. It is an important hub for Ryanair, Air Nostrum and Air Europa. However, airlines including Iberia, Air France, British Airways, EasyJet, Swiss International, Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, amongst others, also operate out of València.

 

SERVICES. The airport has numerous kiosks, duty-free shops, bars and restaurants. There are also cash machines, public telephones, Wi-Fi, medical assistance and bathroom facilities adapted for persons with disabilities. In addition, passengers will find a VIP lounge, situated between the two terminals, as well as a Tourist Info office in the arrivals hall.

 

PARKING. There are two public car parks at the airport. One is located in front of the T1 building and the other close to the Regional Terminal. There is also an area specifically allocated for car rentals and tour operator coaches.

 

CAR HIRE. A total of nine car hire companies operate out of València Airport, seven of which have offices on the ground floor of the main terminal. The drop-off and collection points for the remaining two can be found in the T1 car park.

 

HOW TO GET HERE

 

By metro, via Line 3 (red) and Line 5 (green). The station is situated on the ground floor of the arrivals hall in the Regional Terminal. Journey time to the city centre is approximately 25 minutes.

 

By bus, via metropolitan bus line 150, also known as the Airport Metrobus. This stops just outside the T1 arrivals hall. There are also other private tour operators and bus companies, such as Alsa, which operate extra services to Alicante and Benidorm during the summer.

 

By taxi. There are two taxi ranks, one in T1 Departures (first floor) and the other in T1 Arrivals (ground floor). València’s taxis are white and run by local companies. They all charge the same rates and are available 24 hours a day.
