On April 19, 2012 Alqueria del Pou opened its doors after rehabilitating this place for the enjoyment of the typical cuisine of the southern garden of the city of Valencia, close to the natural spaces of the beaches of Dehesa del Saler and Albufera. The building corresponds to the traditional construction of the orchard, the farmhouse, where the families who worked the surrounding lands lived.

The cuisine of Alqueria del Pou offers the typical dishes of the southern orchard of the city of Valencia. In the starters are very present both vegetables and fresh seafood products, such as titaina, with tomato, pepper, pine nuts and tuna ventresca; along with tellinas (coquinas), clòtxines (in season), and fried beach fish. The rice section deserves special attention, with the different preparations of the traditional recipes of this region, whether these are cooked in paella or in clay casserole, to make them dry, brothy, honeyed or baked.
